Experience
Michal’s professional background includes 22 years in various management positions. She served as a lieutenant in the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) where she trained women cadet officers.
She filled different management positions, which included running national projects organising both large-scale events and many international conferences. She was the executive Director of The Israel Forum, an NGO, for over 3 years.
For more than 16 years in her various positions, she was involved in, and focused on, leadership development.
In 2002, she founded a fair-trade small business in Cape Town, African Home, which trades in handicrafts, mainly for export, made in disadvantaged communities in South Africa.
Michal was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, and immigrated to South Africa in 1999. She is married and mother of 2 grownup children.
